The Casey Watters office has implemented the following best practice policies as outlined by the CDC and World Health Organization to help prevent the possibility of community spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Rice Lake is the retail and recreational hub of the Barron County area! The community is the host of the Rice Lake Aquafest that takes place in early-June and offers music in the park every Thursday at 7 pm. Other attractions include Skate City, Lake 7 Movie Theatre, Rice Lake Speedway, area golf courses, Veterans Park and more! Visit the many shops and unique retail offerings in the downtown area or just take a stroll to the beautiful waterfront of Rice Lake! The city of Rice Lake is in the center of dozens of recreation opportunities including: fishing and water recreation, cross country ski trails, hiking, and ATV trails. If you looking for a traditional cafe style breakfast stop by Maxine’s on Main Street or for lunch and dinner try out one of the local favorites including Lehman’s, Drags, Adventures, and Applebee’s.
Cameron is a great family community famous for their school district and offers many parks, campgrounds, resorts, and is accessible to many local lakes. If you get hungry check out the Cameron House, R Bar, or Brion’s Smokehouse and Deli. Cool off with the kids in the summer months at the Cameron Splash Pad or enjoy the outdoor exercise equipment adjacent to the splash pad!
Chetek is known for the thousands of acres of water recreation on the Chain of Lakes features many resorts and campgrounds! Home of the Hydroflights every Thursday & Sunday through the summer months, Chetek is also home to the Stardust drive in movie theatre, a farmers market on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and an abundance of retail in the downtown area and many delicious dining opportunities including: The famous Chetek Bakery, Gilligan’s, Red’s, and Pokegama!
Enjoy indoor and outdoor recreation all year long in Barron! In the summer you can visit the Municipal Pool open daily 11:30 to 7, Anderson Park, and Rolling Oaks golf course and supper club. In the winter months or on a rainy day you can try the Barron Area Community Center that offers a gym, workout center, running track, pool sauna, and hot tub or the Ice Arena for ice skating fun along with an indoor archery range. If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, head to the Blueberry Line Coffee House!
In the heart of recreation country, Birchwood offers an abundance of outdoor recreation! Birchwood offer camping, golfing, water recreation, ATV & Snowmobile Trails, and great dining! If you’re looking for a bite to eat try out Paul’s Pizza Den, Birchwood Café, Chit Chat Resort, or Cheers at Tagalong. For a cool summer cocktail motor your boat over to the tiki bar at Tagalong Golf & Resort or for a five star dining experience check out the famous Stouts Island Lodge on Red Cedar Lake!
Spooner offers year round recreation and is also home to the Heart of the North Rodeo in early July and features national rodeo acts! Additional recreation opportunites include Jack Pine Savage Days in August, Jack Frost Fest in the Winter Months, Lumberjack Hockey & indoor ice skating opportunities at the Spooner Civic Center, Railroad Museum, Great Northern Railroad Train Ride, the Heritage Canoe Museum, and Hunt Hill Sanctuary! Enjoy the busy downtown at the Northwind Book & Fiber Bookstore, Myana Chocolate showroom, Yellow River Trading Comany, Palace Theater, and don’t forget to get a pizza at the locally famous Tony’s Riverside!
This waterfront community offers visitors access to an abundance of recreation and activities! Shell Lake is well known for it’s great Walleye fishing, beautiful sandy beach, camping, ATV campground, and waterfront campground. Take in local attractions like the Wood Carving Museum, Theater in the Woods, downtown dining and ice cream shops! Don’t forget to check out Lakeview Bar and Family Dining and Peggy’s Place for great dining!
